Dexter and The Moonrocks are gearing up for their biggest year yet. The Texas alt-rock crew just announced their brand-new EP, Happy to Be Here, dropping May 7. The news comes with the release of their new single, "Say I..."

This six-track release marks a bold new chapter for the band, led by the electrifying “Ritalin”—a song built for massive crowds and already climbing the charts. With Happy to Be Here, the band isn’t just finding their sound—they’re owning it.

And they’re not staying put. The tour will take them across the country, with stops in Missouri, Tennessee, New Mexico, and Arizona, plus a special set at Warped Tour in Long Beach, CA, this July.

"Happy To Be Here is a little more emotional and feels more personal than Western Space Grunge," says guitarist Ryan Anderson. "And with both EPs on the new vinyl, you can really hear the difference between the two. On Happy to Be Here, you can hear how we’re grappling with the industry and everything that comes with what we’re doing outside of just playing guitar, but also how everything keeps getting better and better at the same time."

To celebrate, they’re also releasing their first-ever vinyl record, The Double EP. Side A features all of Happy to Be Here, while Side B throws it back to the band’s breakout project, Western Space Grunge.

The new EP is available to pre-save now.
