Sophie Powers is stepping into her boldest era yet, and she's commanding attention with every move she makes. Powers shedding the bubblegum neon of her past and stepping into a darker synth-pop sonic with her latest single "move with me," out April 4 via AWAL. The single comes ahead of a dominating year for Powers as she prepares for sets at all three weekends of Vans Warped Tour and the UK's Slam Dunk Festival.
When describing the thematic content of the single, Sophie explained, “It’s becoming harder and harder to find someone who seamlessly fits into our busy lives. As a music artist, fashion designer, and 20-year-old bisexual ‘girlboss,’ my hectic schedule has made dating feel impossible—but it’s not just me. My generation values independence over tradition. Finding a partner isn’t a necessity, but it’s still nice to meet someone who just gets you—who can keep up and move with you.”
